Myeloma : Immunophenotyping

Comments:
Neoplastic plasma cells strongly express CD38 (left panel) and CD138. They usually lack surface immunoglobulin but there is strong cytoplasmic expression of light chains with kappa or lambda restriction. The case presented here shows kappa light chains.
