Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma

Comments:
This is a case of solid variant of alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. The left half shows sheets of densely packed tumor cells and absence of alveolar pattern. Fibrous septa are a clue to the diagnosis. An incipient alveolar pattern is begining to emerge due to the loss of cellular cohesion in the right half of the image.
