Myelolipoma : Gross Pathology

Comments:
Gross Pathology: Adrenal myelolipoma in a 55 y/o male. The specimen shows dark brown islands of bone marrow tissue surrounded by broad bands of fibrosis all of which is rimmed by bright yellow-orange adrenal cortex. Microscopically, it showed hematopoietic elements, mature adipose tissue, fibromyxoid areas as well as osteoid tissue.
