Myelolipoma : Sites
Sites: Most myelolipomas arise within the adrenal gland. Infrequently, they develop in extraadrenal sites such as mediastinum, retroperitoneum, renal sinus, presacral region, stomach, pleura, spleen and liver. It is more commonly seen on the right and is infrequently bilateral.This image shows adrenal cortical tissue (zona fasciculata) at the top and hematopoietic elements and fat at the bottom.
