Myelolipoma : Microscopic Features

Microscopic Features: Myelolipoma consists of varying proportions of mature fat and hematopoietic elements. The bone marrow elements show normal trilineage hematopoiesis but with increased number of megakaryocytes. Note the rim of adrenal cortex (zona fasciculata) at the top of this adrenal myelolipoma.
