Myelolipoma : Microscopic Features

Microscopic Features: Myelolipoma is composed of varying proportions of mature fat and hematopoietic elements. Some cases consist predominantly of fat with only scant bone marrow elements. They resemble lipomas (left panel). Others consist mostly of hematopoietic tissue and only rare fat cells (right panel).
