Myelolipoma : Introduction

Introduction: Myelolipoma is a benign tumor-like lesion composed of mature fat and normal bone marrow elements. It usually occurs in the adrenals in individuals older than 40 years. It is the 2nd most common adrenal cortical tumor, accounting for 2.6% of all primary adrenal tumors. It has been seen in association with other adrenal cortical tumors, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and adrenal ganglioneuroma.
