Comments:
Gross Pathology: Angiolipoma presents in the subcutis as a circumscribed encapsulated yellow mass with a reddish tinge that may be more prominent at the tumor periphery. Most lesions are smaller than 2 cm in diameter.

Microscopic Features: Angiolipoma is well-circumscribed and encapsulated. It consist of an admixture of mature adipose tissue and a branching vascular network which is usually prominent at the tumor periphery (as shown here). The relative proportion of the two components varies from case to case.
