Comments:
Case History: Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABC) involve small bones of hands infrequently (5% of all cases). This radiograph is from a 20 y/o female with a painful swelling in hand. The fifth metacarpal bone is partially destroyed by a blow-out expansile lesion that was diagnosed as an ABC. Case courtesy of Dr Hani Makky Al Salam, Radiopaedia.org. From the case rID: 28671
