Another example of chondroid chordoma with abrupt transition between the chondroid area on the right and conventional pattern on the left. In chondroid areas, the neoplastic cells are present in lacunar-like spaces embedded within basophilic matrix, producing a strong resemblance to low-grade chondrosarcoma.
