Hepatoblastoma

Hepatoblastomas are typically well-circumscribed with cut surfaces that can be soft, nodular, or fleshy (as seen here), with focal hemorrhage or necrosis. The background liver is usually unremarkable. Associated congenital conditions include Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, cleft palate, diaphragmatic hernia, Down’s syndrome, familial polyposis coli, renal malformations, and other chromosomal abnormalities.
