Microscopic Features: Higher magnification of the previous image showing a chondroid focus undergoing calcification (dark blue/purple areas) in a mesenchymal chondrosarcoma (MC). The nuclei in lacunae are small, round to oval and hyperchromatic and resemble those seen in the undifferentiated component.
