Basal Cell Adenoma
Comments:
This image depicts a basal cell adenoma composed of two cell types – small hyperchromatic cells with scanty cytoplasm at the periphery of the anastomosing nests and trabeculae and larger polygonal cells with abundant cytoplasm and pale staining nuclei in the center. The stroma has scant amount of spindle shaped myoepithelial cells. Mitotic activity is not increased.
