Salivary Duct Carcinoma : Differential
Differential diagnosis of salivary duct carcinoma includes high grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, acinic cell carcinoma, oncocytic carcinoma, and metastatic mammary carcinoma. This high magnification view shows portion of a solid nest with central comedonecrosis (lower right). The tumor cells have large vesicular nuclei with punctate nucleoli. Mitotic activity is increased.
