Comments:
Syringocystadenoma Papilliferum (SP) is a benign neoplasm which commonly occurs on the scalp and head. Although this lesion is frequently encountered in the pediatric population, SP can occur at any age. Most often, it presents as a raised warty plaque and is associated with alopecia when on the scalp. Congenital lesions, such as nevus sebaceus, are frequently found in association with SP.
