Capillary-type growth in low-grade angiosarcomas of the breast consists of a dense infiltrative proliferation of small capillaries. This image shows capillary-type growth infiltrating adipose tissue of the breast.

Perilobular hemangioma, which enters into the differential diagnosis, lacks nuclear atypia and is circumscribed and does not infiltrate the stroma or surround the terminal duct lobular units.
