Comments:
The stomach is one of the most common extranodal sites of marginal zone lymphoma. The infiltrative neoplasm can demonstrate a nodular growth pattern, as seen here, or a more diffuse pattern. Some reactive lymphoid follicles may still exist in the background. The clinical presentation may mimic gastritis or benign peptic ulcer. Endoscopy may show prominent thickened gastric folds mimicking hypertrophic gastritis or polyps.
