Comments:
The classic histologic appearance consists of a uniform population of tumor cells with ample clear cytoplasm (due to glycogen content), prominent cell membranes, and a large nucleus with a prominent nucleolus. The tumor cells are arranged in small nests or clusters separated by fibrous trabeculae containing lymphocytes and plasma cells.
