As shown above, prominent, dilated vessels may be present. Since eccrine spiradenomas are a slow-growing tumor, patients may not seek treatment until long after the tumor first appears. In some cases, intralesional vessels can be outlined by sclerosis. This feature is sometimes referred to as "ancient change."
