Type AB Thymoma

All the histological features of type A thymoma (spindle cell thymoma) can be seen in the type A component of type AB (mixed) thymoma. In this image, the spindle cells are forming meningothelial-like nodules, solid nests as well as rosettes. Numerous lymphocytes are scattered within and in between the spindle cell clusters.
