Comments:
The tumor has a very homogenous appearance and consists of delicate fibroblastic cells arranged in a storiform pattern. In a typical case, the following features are absent or inconspicuous: increased mitotic activity, pleomorphism, giant cells, foamy histiocytes, and inflammatory cells. Vasculature is not prominent. Some cases show myxoid change in the stroma.
