Comments:
Low-power view of an inflammatory pseudotumor showing irregular interface between the lesion (left) and uninvolved, compressed lung parenchyma on the right. Although the interface of inflammatory pseudotumor (synonymous with inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor) may be irregular, as in the current case, complete excision of inflammatory pseudotumor has excellent survival. Few cases of inflammatory pseudotumor may recur or metastasize, usually in cases with incomplete excision.
