Although the interface of inflammatory pseudotumor (synonymous with inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor) may be irregular, as in the current case, complete excision of inflammatory pseudotumor has excellent survival. Few cases of inflammatory pseudotumor may recur or metastasize, usually in cases with incomplete excision.
