Comments:
Blister formation is common in all forms of cutaneous mastocytosis. It is frequent in patients below 3 years of age. In patient with widespread bullous lesions, the differential diagnosis should include other bullous dermatoses such as bullous congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma, early-onset epidermolysis bullosa, and staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome.
