Differential Diagnosis of Bladder MALT Lymphoma: The differential includes florid chronic cystitis (polymorphous cell population; does not form a mass; polyclonal), small cell carcinoma (cohesive cell clusters with nuclear molding; positive for neuroendocrine markers and negative for lymphoid markers), lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma, and lymphoid-rich variant of urothelial carcinoma.

The image shows plaque-like infiltrates beneath the surface from a case of urinary bladder MALT lymphoma.
