Gross Pathology: Ganglion forms a unilocular or multilocular cyst with thick fibrous wall and filled with clear mucinous fluid. It usually measures 1 to 3 cm in size. It is attached to the connective tissue of tendon sheath or joint capsule but does not communicate with the joint cavity.
