Metanephric Adenoma : Additional Images

Metanephric adenomas may contain areas that closely resemble Wilms tumor. Based on morphologic and immunohistochemical similarities between the two, some have suggested that metanephric adenomas may represent mature differentiated counterpart of Wilms tumor. However, metanephric adenomas have normal karyotype and do not show any cytogenetic abnormalities.
