Rhabdoid meningiomas (WHO Grade III) are usually associated with conventional meningiomas and sometimes also contain papillary areas. Despite the uniformity of the cells, the presence of rhabdoid morphology is synonymous with aggressive behavior with a recurrence risk of 87%, and a 13% risk of extracranial metastases.
