Meningioma

Comments:
Well circumscribed dural-based meningioma with a bulging tan-pink coarsely granular appearance that may exert mass effect upon the underlying brain parenchyma. Focal areas of hemorrhage are noted in the upper left corner. The peak incidence of meningiomas is seen in the elderly (6th & 7th decades). They are slow-growing dural-based tumors.
