Thecoma : Gross Pathology

Comments:
Gross Pathology: Thecomas are unilateral in >95% of cases. The size ranges from <1 cm to >20 cm (average size 5-10 cm). It is a well-defined solid tumor with a firm consistency and yellow-tan cut surface. Occasional foci of cystic change, hemorrhage, necrosis or calcification (in young women) may be present.
