Granular Cell Tumor : Pseudoepitheliomatous Hyperplasia

When granular cell tumor grows under an epithelial surface (either skin or a mucosal surface such as tongue), the overlying squamous epithelium often shows pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia which may be misdiagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma.
