Comments:
Microscopic Features of Lipofibromatosis: Higher magnification showing so-called mesenchymal or diffuse pattern from an early lesion of lipofibromatosis in a 5 month old patient. Primitive mesenchymal and fibroblastic cells are scattered haphazardly in a myxoid matrix. There is no cytologic atypia and mitotic activity is not increased. Such areas need to be distinguished from embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma.
