Microscopic Features (continued): In dedifferentiated liposarcomas, the degree of dedifferentiation is variable. In 90% of cases, there is a high-grade sarcoma that resembles undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS). The UPS areas show full range of morphologic patterns, including storiform-pleomorphic (shown here), myxoid, giant cell rich, and inflammatory pattern.
