Comments:
Sclerosing atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma (ALT/WDL): This is an example of sclerosing subtype of ALT/WDL that arose in the thymus. Thymic tissue is seen on the lower left as well as within peripheral areas of the tumor. The tumor was composed of broad sheets of collagenized stroma with scattered mature adipocytes and a few atypical stromal cells.
