Atypical Lipomatous Tumor/Well-Diff Liposarcoma : Microscopic Patterns

Microscopic Features: Atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma (ALT/WDL) shows three morphologic patterns: 1) lipoma-like; 2) sclerosing; and 3) inflammatory. Lipoma-like and sclerosing patterns often coexist. These patterns have no clinical significance and routine subclassification of ALT/WDL is not required.
