Differential Diagnosis of Angiolipoma: (continued from the previous image)

Intramuscular Hemangioma: This was previously referred to as infiltrating angiolipoma and is not related to the subcutaneous angiolipoma. These are intramuscular large-vessel hemangiomas in which some of the affected muscle fibers have been replaced by adipose tissue. Intramuscular hemangioma is large, solitary, located deep, lacks encapsulation and lacks fibrin thrombi.
