Mixed Germ Cell Tumor

Comments:
Mixed germ cell tumor of the mediastinum composed of teratoma and embryonal carcinoma. The embryonal carcinoma component consists of tubular and glandular structures as well as anastomosing cords of primitive-appearing neoplastic cells. The tumor cells have hyperchromatic nuclei with brisk mitotic activity. The intervening stroma is spindled and highly cellular.
