Type AB Thymoma : Prognosis

Comments:
The prognosis of type AB thymoma is excellent. The 5-yr and 10-yr survival rates range between 80% and 100%. Even tumors presenting as Stage II or III can be cured by radical surgery. The recurrence rate is usually less than 5% and metastases are rare.
