Comments:
Paget Disease of Bone (PDB) - Imaging Studies: PDB involving radius in a 44-year-old man. The patient gave history of bone pain for at least 7 years. The cause of the recent biopsy was suspicion of relapsing chronic osteomyelitis. Histologically, the lesion showed the typical findings of PDB, which is relatively rare in Turkish population. Note especially "the bend" which characterizes PDB involving the long bones. Other notable findings here include : loss of corticomedullary demarcation; coarse, thick and irregular trabeculae of cancellous bone.
