Comments:
The glandular foci in embryonal carcinoma may be lined by columnar cells in about one-fifth of cases. The cytoplasm may be clear, eosinophilic, basophilic, or amphophilic. In addition, the columnar cells may show subnuclear vacuoles (seen in this case) resembling secretory phase endometrium.
