Comments:
Gross Pathology: Invasive ductal carcinoma in an excisional biopsy. There is a large irregular pink-tan mass with a slightly depressed surface. Yellow-white spots are foci of necrosis. The tumors with grossly stellate appearance have worse prognosis than those with circumscribed contours. Image courtesy of Dr. Montemor Netto, Brazil; Used with permission.
