Comments:
A focus of acute inflammation showing neutrophilic infiltrate within and around the glands. A few lymphocytes, plasma cells, and histiocytes are also seen. The acinar epithelial cells show minimal nuclear enlargement and punctate nucleoli. See next image for high molecular weight cytokeratin stain.
