Higher magnification showing a mixed inflammatory infiltrate consisting of lymphocytes, plasma cells, eosinophils, and histiocytes. Given that some patients harbor coexistent malignant lymphoma or develop overt lymphomas subsequently, the term pseudolymphoma has fallen into disfavor.
