Comments:
When small atypical glands are seen infiltrating in between larger obviously benign glands, it is indicative of invasion and is virtually diagnostic of malignancy. The cancer glands are small and have rigid round or oval lumens as opposed to the complex branching or undulating lumens of the surrounding benign glands.
