Comments:
Mucormycosis involving stomach in an immunocompromised patient. The hyphae are broad, ribbon-like with non-parallel cell walls and may show few to no septations. The hyphae may branch at an obtuse angle. Unless the patient is neutropenic, usually there is a neutrophilic response.
