Comments:
Immunohistochemically, well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors of gallbladder show positivity for the usual neuroendocrine markers, including chromogranin, synaptophysin, and CD56. Hormones such as serotonin and somatostatin are also commonly found. The tumors associated with von Hippel-Lindau syndrome are inhibin positive.
