Myxoid Liposarcoma : Gross Pathology

Gross Pathology: This myxoid liposarcoma was composed predominantly of high-grade areas (previously termed round cell liposarcoma). Accordingly, most of the tumor was solid, firm, and pink-tan with only small scattered foci of gelatinous consistency. The tumor was centered within medial thigh (note the skeletal muscles surrounding the mass).
