Comments:
This is an example of high-grade myxoid liposarcoma. It consists predominantly of bland spindle or fusiform cells along with small clusters of high-grade cells (previously termed round cell component). Numerous lipoblasts as well as a delicate capillary network are also seen. Most experts require > 5% of high-grade areas for the designation of high-grade myxoid LPS.
