Radiation Necrosis - Treatment: The mainstay of treatment for osteoradionecrosis is hyperbaric oxygen therapy, combined with surgical debridement and appropriate antibiotic therapy. The optimal outcome requires a team approach which includes coordination among radiation oncologists, oral maxillofacial surgeons, dentists, infectious disease specialists and hyperbaric medicine specialists.
