Squamous Differentiation in Gallbladder Carcinomas: This is an example of adenosquamous carcinoma with predominant squamous differentiation. Scattered glandular elements (signet ring cells) could only be detected with mucin stains. Any degree of glandular differentiation qualifies the tumor for the designation of adenosquamous carcinoma.
