Adenosquamous Carcinoma of Gallbladder: Focal squamous differentiation is seen in approximately 5% of all gallbladder carcinomas. When the squamous component constitutes > 25% of the tumor, it is referred to as adenosquamous carcinoma. This image shows an adenosquamous carcinoma producing a necrotic polypoid mass that was adherent to the liver.
